Etyek wine and movie
Why don’t you stroll with us among the stunning vineyards of Etyek, enjoy the fascinating landscape, the mild hills, the tidy rows of vine. Etyek “the vineyard of Budapest” mostly makes fresh, crispy white and sparkling wines. Beyond tasting excellent wines in antique cellars some local cheese and ham are also presented. We look behind the scenes of moviemaking in Korda Film Park, reveal some filmmaking tricks during our studio tour.

PROGRAMME
The tour departs from Budapest. We visit a small-scale handcrafted wine producer in Etyek whoguides us through his tiny sparkling wine museum, tells us about the history of sparkling wine making in the region. Besides trying his wines, a cold plate of ham, cheese and other local products are served in his 150 years old cellar.
After lunch we drive to the top of the hill to the Korda Studio. Etyek is also a home for a major film-production studio called Korda Studios, named after Sir Alexander Korda, a Hungarian-born British film producer.
About 2 hours later we head back to the “Öreghegy” (Old Hill) for the next wine tasting and dinner. We have gourmet food paired with selected Etyek wines at a local winery.
